..a bit late as it happens, and only vaguely coherent. Nothing to do with spending yesterday in the company of some very fine friends chatting about philosophy. This, in fine philosophical tradition, gave way to large amounts of drinking. Apparently there was absinthe after I left...on a Sunday?! Well, some people are braver than I methinks!! ;o)
Saturday was spent mostly in the company of my family. Spent the morning at the Design Museum looking at formula one cars (Go Button!!! Nice result yesterday!!), followed by lunch at Wagamamas (none of my family had been there before. Weird) and 'Jeffery Bernard is Unwell' at the Garrick Theatre. It was excellent. Tom Conti was brilliant as Mr Bernard. Then met up for dinner with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sheridanwilde and misskittykat before Invocation. Much fun was had. I left about 1am (and got home at 3.30. Groan. But that'll be the last time I have that problem from that venue!!! *bounce*). Felt like I was leaving very early and I'd hardly spoken to anyone, so sorry to anyone who I didn't get a chance to chat to.
Other highlights from last week mostly involve the movement of books from shelves to boxes. Thanks for all donations of boxes so far,nimstar I should pick some up off you soon.
Right, time to get back to some semblance of work. Or at least giving the illusion of working...
