Well, further to my previous post I am definately going to Kryptorium at New Year. :o) Seems quite a few of you on my friends list will be there too! Should be a good night and will be the day I start drinking again, so I expect to get very drunk. Excellent. Start the new year as you mean to go on, huh?
This week has been very busy, went to see a friend monday for dinner, has meetings till 9 pm wednesday and spent all day thursday at a conference in Birmingham! Yesterday was Dead and Buried which was good, although a little quiet. Caught up with a few people I haven't seen for a couple of weeks due to being ill, which was good, but didn't stay very late as I was shattered. Today I had my eyes tested for the first time in years, and it seems I haven't killed them yet but I am slightly long sighted. Don't need glasses though unless it starts bothering me, so that's ok.
Tomorrow I think I might go bike shopping. I've had my bonus now (yay!) and I really need a new bike for commuting, so might have a wander round Evans and the like and see if there's anything better than the Ridgeback Genesis Day 03 that I've been looking at for a while. It's £740, but it's beautiful - bascially a road bike with flat handlebars, but should be excellent for London. I did see a Giant bike that I quite liked the other day, which was nearly £200 cheaper, but it was gold. I'll have a think about it tomorrow.
This week, I have a meeting monday evening, Tuesday is I Can't Believe It's Not M:Alice @ the Fox, meetings again Wednesday, then B Movie on Friday - so another busy one then? Still only another 2 weeks to work and I then I have 2 and a half off for Yule/Christmas/New Year and generally not doing much. Yay!
