Irksome things

This morning I went to get some more of my pill - Queenswood are pretty good and let me have a whole year at a time which cuts down on annoying repeat visits. It's the only time during the year when I get weighed. This morning I weighed 66kg, apparently last year I weighed 70kg. Without any apparent thought the nurse said 'Oh well done!', I was like huh? 'You've lost 4kg!'. Um... At 70kg with a height of 175cm I have a BMI of 23 (I know! BMI is rubbish but that's the measurement the NHS use!). So I don't need to lose 4kg... When I said, slightly surprised at her comment, that I hadn't been trying to lose weight she said I was lucky! Surely if I was trying to lose weight from a BMI of 23 that would be a concern??? It bothers me how engrained this thinking is that medical professionals make such ridiculous comments without thinking about it.
