Er, ok...

That bee just appeared out of my gas fire. I'm pretty certain that's a Bad Thing.

That's just un-bee-lievable.

(I'll get my coat...)

Nah, just confirms your theory, chimney. Gas fires are full of air gaps

Not really a "bad thing" - it just confirms that the hive is in the chimney/flue. I'd be inclined to check out some pest controllers and get some advice on getting rid of it. Are you renting or do you have the leasehold/freehold on the flat (can you offload this onto a landlord/building manager/tenants' council or whatever)? Is the chimney shared? Do you know if other residents are having similar incidents?

Good luck :/

Depends if this means on-tap honey.

the hatter

From the photo they're bumbles or similar, which means no honey stores worth a human bothering about. (Honey bees, small dark, less fluffy than bumbles generate lots but getting at it is a whole different story).

Mmmm. Roast bees.

Good job you're moving out soon...

Yeah. I'd still mention it to your landlady though (lest you become known as 'that goth bird who put a bee's nest up in the chimney and then buggered off').

I'll bee over here. (I'll get my hat now...)
