Swarfy goodness....

Thursday night was fantastic. Only stayed for the first two bands (well, it was a school night!!!) got far far tooo drunk, giggled lots and nearly fell over. Misnomer were first on, I've heard of them but never heard any of their music and I was very impressed. The lead singer had such an amazing stage presence and energy it was impossible not to get swept up in it. Excellent. Then Swarf who were also stunning as usual. It was a really good set, played some new stuff, some old stuff and generally looked like they were having a good time so everyone else did too. Nice to see a fair sized crowd for a Thursday night as well. Good atmosphere. William enjoyed it muchly as well, despite not being in the least bit goth/alternative. Bloody marvellous.

Friday...well, woke up at 9.30 which was bad as I was supposed to be at work by then. Rang boss. Got to work little over an hour later which personally I think was pretty good going! Tedious day at work. Went to the Dev, bumped into djpsyche, jareth77 and were then joined by lots of other people, before picking up Philippa and heading off to Ritual. It was a good night!! Drank too much, don't think I sobered up from Thursday until about 15.00....and then drank over a bottle of red wine during the course of last night. It's a good job I don't get hangovers. Philippa certainly enjoyed her first expedition onto the goth scene ;o)

Today I'm off to have lunch with my parents, then I think I'm going to sleep and then I will go to elijahtc 's birthday drinks. I think my liver must hate me.

Hey there... So glad to hear everything's going well and the gig was good. Beijing is.... hot mostly, but we've been having the best vegan food! Tai veg doesn't seem quite the same now. Take care xx
