One week closer to my holiday :o)

Although it doesn't look like it's going to be much of a holiday - more like working from home for 3 weeks given the amount I have to do! Oh well, could be worse, at least I don't have to be in the office.
This week has been a bit better than the last few. The cycle ride on Tuesday was great! I only did about 35 miles, but it was through lovely countryside and it was so good to get out of the city for a bit. We're probably going to make a regular thing of it :o)
Wednesday was a really good day - had a meeting with my personnel manager in the afternoon and sorted out a lot of stuff that was bothering me and he told me how wonderful I am at my job, which is always nice. Then the gig, then Thursday we saw the films and yesterday I sat in a day full of meetings. Got a lot done though, but I do have piles of things to do this weekend - not least write some monthly departmental reports before the meeting on Monday!! How did I forget about month end???
