Exhaustion reigns supreme...

Ok, so maybe it's mostly my own fault...I was out at Synthetic Culture until 4am this morning, but I am absolutely shattered. Good night out, met some friends at The Dev before going to SC and then we danced ourselves silly to lots of cheesy nu-metal tunes :o) Fantastic. Bus journey home was a nightmare though - you'd think that when it says on the timetable that all the N159's will be going to Croydon that they'd all go to Croydon. But they don't. They stop at Streatham Common half time, we let 3 go through and then got on the 4th. The bus driver eventually dropped us off in Thornton Heath 'cos he felt sorry for us, and we had to get another bus from there taking a total of 2.5 hours to get home! If I'd known the buses weren't going to go to Croydon then I wouldn't have fucking waited for one, would I!!! Very annoying. I'm tempted to ring TfL and complain, but I'm not sure it'll get me anywhere.
The past couple of weeks have been pretty shit all in all. Work is a nightmare at the moment, I have shitloads to do and the company has hit a small cash crisis so I might have to lose one of my staff. *Rolls eyes* just when I thought I had enough people to let me get on with the work I need to be doing and not be answering the phone all day!! Nevermind, it'll be fine eventually...the company is ideally placed to take advantage of lots of good things in the coming year so hopefully life will be less stressful in the new year. But there won't be a pay rise until next Christmas. Bummer. Oh, and just when I'm panicking about getting everything done someone manages to delete the marketing email in box. Some people just shouldn't be allowed near computers!
Apart from work things have also been mad - there's lots of stuff I need to do for the Croydon Cycling Campaign that I don't have time to do, I was up until 2am on Thursday printing out the bloody newsletter that had to be at the LCC on Friday. Maybe that's why I'm so tired :o(
Bizarrely however I'm very glad it's raining - means the 2 hour road lesson I was supposed to be teaching at this moment has been cancelled, which is good 'cos I don't really think I've sobered up yet...
