Another day another dollar...

It's Saturday, 13.31 according to my computer and I'm at work. Pathetic sys admin as I am, I'm actually quite happy about this. It being Saturday there's no-one here but me and my little computers, I'm listening to Goteki and all is well with the world. Last night was Dead and Buried, which was really good. Saw magpie_queen for what seemed like the first time in ages!! Also chatted to indigo_violet, djpsyche, darckense, ravenstoker, chimera_s, danny_e11, jareth77 amounst others, which was All Good. Music wasn't bad either - they even played some All About Eve :o) Took forever to get home as usual though, so wasn't exacly early to work this morning, but that's ok 'cos there's no-one here to see ;o)

This week has been quite stressful. I was teaching a cycling course at a secondary school in Merton on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons which was a bit of a nightmare as I've not taught in sooooo long that I've forgotten half the syllabus and one of the kids we were teaching appeared to have ADHD making him a complete joy. Honest. This also meant I've only really worked 3 half days in the office this week which is bad 'cos I have fuckloads to do. But I'm here now, just waiting for Up2Date to update all the packages on my newly installed FC4 backup server and then I can get on with stuff.

Next week is looking fairly quiet at present, for which I am grateful. Tuesday I have some hideous transport conference to go to in Croydon on behalf of the cycling campaign and assuming I don't kill myself through boredom I intend to be at the Intrepid Fox in the evening for I Can't Believe it's Not Malice and hope to see some of you there! Wednesday I'm off to have dinner with a friend, Thursday is currently free so I might go and see War of the Worlds, or go to the Dev, or go to a Sluts meet or just collapse at home in front of some trashy tv, Friday I'd quite like to go to B-Movie, but I haven't made my mind up yet.

Bugger. FC4 install appears to have crashed....how unlikely is that????

LJ's odd behaviour carries on - your posts keep NOT appearing on my friends page for some reason. Once again it was only idly following links and eventually ending up here that I saw your last few posts... well, I suppose I must remember to check your page directly every now and again
