Well, I appear to have made it to Friday and be in (almost) one piece. Physically anyway. I am never relocating an entire company as long as I live. My next aim in life is to employ people to do this sort of nonsense for me.

So yesterday we moved all the furniture over to the new place, with water coming through the ceiling in Lambeth Walk. and the phone system was installed in Bermondsey. All went well, the new phone system is extremely posh and I'm very happy with it. I now have a direct dial number with personal voicemail (all on my contact details). Lovely.

Not so lovely is the fact that the builders are not going to finish until the 30th December. Which means there are some things I can't do till then...and that's a Saturday. New Years Eve would appear to find me in the office. Bugger. As well as all this moving shite, I'm also writing the staff away day material for the 2nd January (not that there's much to do, mostly done already but written for projection and the digital projector was stolen on Monday so now needs re-writing for handing out on paper. Not too bad, but on top of everything else...) and there's some other stuff for the directors that needs doing by the end of December so I will be working today until I go to the pub and might have to do some work tomorrow. But at least I don't have to be in Bermondsey at 8am to let some engineer into the new office!!!

Feeling a little better anyway, and even if that only lasts until Wednesday (when I shall have to be back in the office) it's better than nothing! Thanks to everyone for all your lovely comments, you're all great.

Oh, and thanks to those who donated for the pony ride - I raised £123 in the end which on just under a weeks fundraising isn't too scruffy :o)
