Another long week...

Don't you just love computers?? Where else would a girl want to be on a Saturday night than at work having a complete trauma with the server? I should be thinking myself lucky that I have such wonderful opportunities in life, other people were probably wasting such opportunities by going out and getting drunk when I was learning lots of things that will probably be useful about RedHat Linux. Well, there you go, such is the life of the IT manager. At least the server works now (thanks to Tish :o) God knows what I'd have done without him...) and I understand it a lot better so I suppose it's a good thing in the long run. I am exhausted today though, and have lots of things to do.

Went to see the allotment this afternoon and it's perfect. About 8 square meters, and not too many weeds at the moment or too much work to do to get started. Richard is going to sort things out with the allotment people and hopefully I can get started soon. So, now I get to do some planning and then hopefully I can do some real stuff when it gets warmer.

This week is business planning week at work, which means it will contain lots of meetings and will probably be ultimately depressing 'cos by the end of it I will know exactly how much we missed our January targets by. Oh well, ignorance isn't really bliss when it comes to business planning I suppose...
