Today has definitely been a mixed sort of day. Actually no, it's been another shit day that just happened to have one piece of good news in it. The good news is that my flat mate has had his contract extended and is staying for a further 3 months :o) Fantastic. That's one less thing to worry about for the moment.
The shit bits were all of the bits that involved either getting out of bed or being at work....so that would be the whole rest of the day then. Work is hell. Why can't people just let me get on with my job??? I'm beginning to believe the implicit implication that I don't know anything about ICT at all and we should just sack me and get some consultants. Grrrrr. Please can I throw our marketing manager off the top of a really big thing? Don't mind what really as long as it's big. Oh, and we're running out of money which is a bit of a trauma - no more overtime and possibly staffing cuts. Bugger!!!
On a brighter note I'm off for a 50 odd mile ride tomorrow with some (nice) people from work. I think it's probably just what I need at the moment, and it means there's no way tomorrow can be as bad as today!!!
